First Thursdays: Antisemitism – Where did it come from?

Antisemitism: Where did it come from? Haman, Amalek & the “Why” of Antisemitism
Presented by Rabbi Laurence Kotok, D.D.

Anti-Judaism and Antisemitism has been part of the Jewish experience from the biblical experience to the beginnings of Christianity 2000 years ago. Antisemitism has shaped our experience and self-definition through the Middle Ages until today. October 7 and its aftermath of global antisemitism directed at Israel, college campuses, and Jewish communities has called into question our understanding of ourselves and our position in society.

Rabbi Kotok will lead a discussion of the impact of antisemitism on Jewish identity and self-awareness and how we must find our new path forward.

No charge for congregants. $15 per device for non-congregants.
This program will be presented via Zoom only. Registration is required to receive Zoom login information.
