Lily Carmichael
Choir Director
Lily Carmichael (she/her) is a choral conductor based in Philadelphia. In addition to directing the choir at Congregation Kol Ami, she serves as music director of the Bryn Mawr Renaissance Choir. She received her M.M. in Choral Conducting from Temple University and her B.A. in Music and Mathematics from Vassar College. Her research areas include health and wellness in the choral classroom, performance-related musculoskeletal disorders affecting singers and conductors, and ableism in music academicism.
