Israeli Resilience During Dark Days with Jessica Steinberg (at TBS)

Join us for an evening with Times of Israel journalist Jessica Steinberg, who will reflect on her return to hard news coverage after years reporting on arts and culture. In the wake of October 7, Jessica has been reporting, writing, and podcasting about survivors, hostages, and those who were killed. As the war continues to unfold, artists and musicians are responding in powerful and deeply personal ways. Jessica will also share music and art created in the weeks and months after October 7, offering a glimpse into how Israeli society is processing and responding to its new reality.

Registration required.

This program is hosted at Temple Beth Sholom, and is presented by Temple Beth Sholom, Congregation Beth El, and Congregation Kol Ami.

Jessica Steinberg is the long-time arts and culture editor for The Times of Israel, who pivoted to coverage of the hostages taken captive to Gaza during the Hamas terrorist attacks of October 7, speaking to their families, those who have been released, covering their stories in articles and the Daily Briefing podcasts. A former New Yorker, she has been living in Israel for the last 28 years, reporting on the conflict and situation in Israel, focusing on how Israeli society pivots and handles war, in art, music, TV and film, culinary arts and design.
