Mazal Tov Rabbi Milan-Polisar!

On March 5, 2025, 18Doors announced the fifth cohort of the Rukin Rabbinic Fellowship, a unique community of practice where rabbis hone their skills working with interfaith couples and families. Rabbi Milan-Polisar was chosen as one of 20 Rabbis participating in the 18Doors Fellowship!

The Fellowship is an 18-month, one-of-a-kind learning opportunity created and sponsored by 18Doors—the national organization laser-focused on empowering people in interfaith relationships and encouraging Jewish communities to welcome them. A group of early to mid-career rabbis who desire to be more comfortable and more skilled in working with people in interfaith relationships come together to explore topics related to interfaith issues.

18Doors cultivates belonging and inclusion in Jewish spaces for people in interfaith relationships. 18Doors meets people “where they’re at”—we recognize that there’s no “one size fits all” approach to anyone on their personal journey or to any couple on their journey together.

Through the professional development opportunities offered by this Fellowship, we hope that future Fellows will be able to advocate for more interfaith inclusion in Jewish life and engage more wholly with interfaith couples and families.

The professional development offerings for Cohort 5 will include in-person retreats, monthly webinars with experts, small discussion groups, and more.

Congratulations, Rabbi!
