Animal Fables in Rabbinic Literature
Animal Fables in Rabbinic Literature (via Zoom)
Led by Rabbi Lewis John Eron, Ph.D.
Weekly, Tuesdays, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm, July 2 – August 6
The tradition of telling fables to illustrate moral and ethical teachings is ancient. We still tell and enjoy hearing them. Our sages drew on this well-established tradition to highlight basic Jewish ideas and beliefs. We will look at and hopefully enjoy a number of them. Perhaps you will be inspired to share them with others, particularly the young people, in your circles. Everyone is welcome.
No cost for congregants; $36 for non-congregants (one-time payment for series).
Registration is required to receive Zoom login information.
