This three-session course is designed for individuals interested in learning how to do genealogy research. We’ll delve into the basics of the research process and discover some of the unique situations that distinguish Jewish genealogy. Our aim is for participants to develop a solid foundation for exploration and feel inspired to continue the process.
Evan Fishman has taught genealogy classes at the Katz JCC and LaGuardia Community College and has spoken to numerous groups about the joys of genealogy research. He currently serves on the board of the Jewish Genealogical & Archival Society of Greater Philadelphia (JGASGP) and is the longtime editor of Chronicles, its quarterly, award-winning publication.
No cost for congregants. $10/session for non-members.
